WHAT IS COCO FEST?
Coco Fest is about celebrating the Cayman Coconut – a bountiful food source with legendary properties – and preserving its ties to Cayman culture and heritage.
Since 2016, Pedro St James has invited people to welcome coconuts back to their tables and support our local cottage business community!
The festival gives local vendors the opportunity to showcase all the wonderful foods and goods that can be made with the Cayman coconut.
Year over year, the event has grown to showcase all kinds of coconut-based items/products, from cooked food, crafts, games, music, to coconut oil, health and beauty products and textiles!

THE BRIGHT SPOT
Bright Spot is a film by Rob Tyler & Tamer Soliman and the award-winning documentary was the catalyst behind the creation of Coco Fest as it highlights the Caymanian culture and its dependency on the coconut industry.
Coconuts were once a traditional staple of the Cayman diet and served as a viable industry and the film’s producers supports the industry’s re-growth (or revival).
Bright Spot highlights the health benefits of using coconut oil in cooking and other aspects of daily life.
WHAT TO EXPECT AT COCO FEST
